Conclusion

Therefore from modeling the collision of two plates. We can conclude that when continental plates collide, new rock (mountains) are formed. When two oceanic plates collide the fastest plate sinks in the collison and when a continental plate and oceanic plate collide the oceanic plate goes under the continental plate.

Conclusion

The aim of the experiment was to investigate the movement of of convection currents. We found out that when the water temperatre was hot the pottassium moved around in a circlar motion while when the water temperature was cold the pottasium just sunk and fell to  the bottom of the beaker. Thus the convection currents move in a circular motion when the water temperatre is hot and in doesent move when its cold.

Analyse why red sunsets can sometimes be more impressive when there is more dust or pollution in the air than usual.

Red sunsets are more impressive when there is pollution because light reflects and refracts of the dust and pollution particles.

Describe what happens inside water droplets to cause a rainbow and explain how you can tell whether a rainbow is a primary or secondary

The light is first refracted as it enters the surface of the raindrop, reflected off the back of the drop, and again refracted as it leaves the drop. You can tell a rainbow is primary is one rainbow while a secondary is a smaller fainter rainbow above the primary rainbow which is a normal rainbow.

What influences your values about issues relating to your life?
Many things influence my values such as the media, my culture, my family and many other things. The media influences my values because i almost always believe what the media says in all media forms such music, tv, movies, news, newspaper etc. The media has made me what i am today.
Do you ever compare images/values presented by the media to those of the bible? If so why? If not why not?
Yeah i do because religion and the bible are always in the media these days.

Has this project challenged you to examine your values? Why / Why not

Yes this project has made me think about my values because most of my values are based on what the media tells me whats wrong and right. Now i know that the medias values are immoral because of this project.

How do you feel the media portrays social justice issues?

The media portrays social justice issues in many ways depending on what the social justice issue is about, whether it is a good issue or a bad issue. I feel the media portrays issues sometimes morally or immorally  depending on the issue but in the end the media/journalist just want to sell a story anyway they can.
Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issues why/why not?

No is hasent because most articles are social justice issues because the effect a large number of people. This means more people would want to read more because it has effected more people.
Do you think that the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research.

On somecases yes and on some cases no but mostly their not. The medias job is to sell stories and make money and to do this they paraprhares and streetch the truth. The media does not operate from a moral framework they operate on money.

1. Open and read the “How to write a critique” document in the resources menu.

Describe what is a critique.

A critique involves identifying critical things to say about an article and resisting the temptation to describe rather than analyse. This basically means to critique the important parts of the article and to tell what the article is about.

2. Outline the FOUR stages in a critique.

· An introduction (which directs the reader’s attention to the publication and your response to it)

· A summary of the article

· Your analysis or critical commentary on the original text

· Your evaluation or conclusion

3. Can a critique be positive? Discuss.

A critique can be either mostly positve or mostly negative it can be however you potray the article or whatever your critiqueing.

4. Critique the accuracy of the following articles

2 year old donkey called up to pro donkey basketball league.

The story is considered important because the donkey has jumped from fundraising games striaght to the pro donkey basketball league. I think the story is fake and is not really worthy of being on the news and i dont know if it is accurate because it is fake.

The story is about a young donkey who makes it into pro donkey basketball league the reporter is talking about how can the donkey can cope with the presure of being in the pro donkey basketball league.

There are many more weaknesses than strengths in the article because the article is not very important  unless you watch the  pro donkey basketball league which is not real. One weakness is there is no info on the pro basketball league which makes in hard for the reader to know if the league is actually real. It is also very hard to spot any errors because it is not real.

You get no “real” message because its fake and not really accurate because the audience knows nothing about the actual story.

In conclusion the accuracy of the story is not good because the story is fake and has no evidence of the stroy being real.
